Lyle L. Boll

Statement of Qualifications

Lyle L. Boll is a Managing Director with Horwath HTL. Mr. Boll is an experienced corporate lawyer and real estate advisory professional who has been in the hospitality industry since 1992. He has handled projects throughout North America. Before focusing on the hospitality industry, he was in private practice in Denver for 12 years, developing expertise in commercial real estate development, corporate finance and banking, leasing, and litigation. He has broad experience in these areas, including corporate and project acquisitions and dispositions, project and enterprise finance, asset management, project development and land use, and management and franchise contract negotiations. He also has extensive experience in risk management and insurance and in labor and employment, and has been directly involved in litigation supervision and in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) throughout the U.S.

Before joining Horwath, Mr. Boll successfully held senior management positions in the hotel industry. As Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Millennium Hotels and Resorts and Regal Hotels International/Richfield Hospitality for over 15 years, he was responsible for acquisition and disposition of major assets, project development including land use and construction, group and individual property finance, management contracts, entity formation and dissolution, policies and procedures, employment polices and contracts, intellectual property, leasing and other commercial contract negotiations, and related litigation and dispute resolution in these areas. Major projects included the Plaza Hotel, New York, the Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles, the Bostonian Hotel, Boston, the UN Plaza Hotel, New York, the Knickerbocker Hotel, Chicago, the sale of the Regal Hotels US Group to Millennium Hotels and Resorts, and the sale/financing of Millennium’s non-core limited-service properties.

After Millennium/Regal, Mr. Boll was Vice President-Legal, with Diamond Resorts International, a significant developer of timeshare resort and vacation club projects throughout the United States and in Europe. In this position, he was responsible for entity and project development and finance, management and operations, construction, intellectual property, and related litigation.

Mr. Boll is a lawyer in good standing and a member of the Colorado bar. His law degree was conferred by Cornell University and he received his B.S. degree from the University of Kansas.
